Dear WA Parent,
Within the past weeks, Williamsburg Academy has had the privilege of adding several new components that have allowed us the opportunity to better serve our parent and student population. For instance, our Pocket Lunch system has really transformed our lunchroom accounting procedures and had a very positive impact.
Beginning Monday, October 19, 2009 Williamsburg Academy will have the capability to accept all major credit/debit cards. (Visa, MasterCard, & Discover) This convenience has been established in an effort to allow our parents an easier method of making payments and purchases. Everyone will have an option of making payments and purchases in person or over the phone. However, we do encourage all card processing to be completed “in-house” when possible, especially in the early stages of our card processing.
Credit and debit card payments and purchases will not be limited. Any and every payment or purchase whether it may be academic or athletic can be completed through our new card processing software. For example, tuition, Pocket Lunch deposits, athletic fees, etc. can all be completed via card processing!
Additionally, please note that there will be a service fee with each card processing transaction. All transaction parameters have been noted below for your review.
The list of applicable fees is as follows:
Transactions between: $1.00 & $250.00 = $5.00 Fee
$251.00 – 999.00 = $10.00 Fee
$1000.00 & Above = $20.00 Fee
